One thing that we overlook in the dialogue around the trade war narrative that has become a partisan issue is that not all protection is bad. The problem is that if you look at justifications for some kind of protection none of them fit the stated cause of what Trump and his economic policymakers are trying to do. Edgar Mihelic has spent the last decade gaining experience in the finance department of a nonprofit serving the intellectually and developmentally disabled.
